CDAC courses - Eligibility and Application Process
Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (CDAC) conducts short term computer courses at diploma as well as certification programme level. Graduation or post graduation in Computer Science or Computer Application is the minimum eligibility required for attending to courses offered by CDAC. Professionals having industry experience in designing and development of Software applications are also eligible for the courses. Graduates in any discipline with relevant IT background can apply.

- Diploma in IT project management
- Diploma in Business Computing
- Diploma in Embedded Programming
- Diploma in Java Programming
- Diploma in MS.net Programming
- Diploma in Quality Assurance
All the courses are short term with duration of 5- 6 months.
Eligibility Criteria
Diploma in IT project management
Engineering graduates from any discipline are eligible to apply. Candidates should know the basics of soft ware engineering.
Diploma in Business Computing
Graduates in any discipline from a recognized University are eligible for this course. Thorough knowledge in Computing fundamentals and Database Concepts are the prerequisites for this course.
Diploma in Embedded Programming
Bachelor of Engineering or Master of Science in (Computer/ Electronics/ IT/ Electronics and Telecommunication) degree holders are eligible to apply. Candidates should know the basics of āCā Programming, Basic Electronics and Operating System Concepts.
Diploma in Java Programming
Graduates in any Engineering Degree or Science graduates who have studied Mathematics as a compulsory subject in their higher secondary education are eligible to apply for this course. Candidates should be aware of Computing fundamentals and OOPS concepts.
Diploma in MS.net Programming
Graduates in any engineering degree or in Science with Mathematics as a compulsory subject are eligible. Candidates are required to have basic computer knowledge as well as programming soft ware.
Diploma in Quality Assurance
Graduates in any engineering degree or in Science with Mathematics as a compulsory subject are eligible to apply. Computing and programming fundamentals are prerequisites for this programme.
Admission Process
Admission for all courses is based on the entrance test conducted by CDAC. Candidates are required to apply for the courses which match their educational qualification. Application form can be downloaded from the official website of the institution and it is common for all courses. Candidates are required to fill the application carefully and send it to the CDAC centre along with supporting documents. A Photostat copy of fully filled application should be kept for future reference. Shortlisted candidates will be called for entrance test. Final selection will be based on the scores obtained in entrance test.
