Profile:

Central Research Institute for Dryland Agriculture was established in the year 1985 under the Government of India. The one of the major objective of the institute is to contribute in the exploration of the possibilities of doubling productivity of dryland. The institute was established as a full fledged research institute for performaing strategic research in dryland agriculture. The institute is also responsible for the planning and coordinating research on a production system mode.

Job Profile:

1. Recruitment of T-6 (Subject Matter Specialist- Agriculture Engineering):
Age Limit: candidates should not be more than 35 years of age.
Educational Qualification: B.Tech in Agriculture Engineering is the only educational qualification required for the post.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade Pay of Rs. 5400.

2. Recruitment of T-6 (Subject Matter Specialist- Horticulture):
Age Limit: candidates should not be more than 35 years of age.
Educational Qualification: M.Sc. in Horticulture is the only educational qualification required for the post.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade Pay of Rs. 5400.

3. Recruitment of T-1 (Mechanic):
Age Limit: candidates should not be more than 30 years of age.
Educational Qualification: Matriculation is the only educational qualification required for the post.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay of Rs. 2000.

4. Recruitment of T-1 (Field/Farm Technician):
Age Limit: candidates should not be more than 30 years of age.
Educational Qualification: Matriculation is the only educational qualification required for the post.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay of Rs. 2000.

Selection Process:

Written examination and then a personal interview session are need to be faced by the candidates for getting themselves selected for all the above specified posts.
