Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) was established on August 15, 1969 as the leading space research organizations in the world under the Government of India. The headquarter of the organisation is located at Antariksh Bhawan, New BEL Road, Bangalore. Mr. K. Radhakrishnan is the chairman or the administrator of the organisation. The major objective of the organisation is to develop the space technology. Satish Dhawan Space Centre is the primary spaceport of the organization.

Job Profile:

Candidates are invited to appply for the posts of Administrative Officer, Accounts Officer and Purchase & Stores Officer in Indian Space Research Organisation. The recruitment is being made by the organisation to provide administrative support to it. Candidates will be recruited in the various centres or units of the organization.

I. GROUP-A GAZETTED POSTS:

1. Recruitment of Administrative Officer:
No. of post: 7 posts. (Gen-3, ST-1 and OBC-3)
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade Pay of Rs. 5400.

2. Recruitment of Accounts Officer:
No. of post: 5 posts. (Gen-3, ST-1 and OBC-1)
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade Pay of Rs. 5400.

3. Recruitment of Purchase & Stores Officer:
No. of post: 5 posts. (Gen-4 and OBC-1)
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade Pay of Rs. 5400.

Candidates will be placed or posted in DOS or ISRO centres/units.

II. GROUP-A NON-GAZETTED POSTS:

4. Recruitment of Administrative Officer:
No. of post: 1 post. (Gen-1)
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade Pay of Rs. 5400.

5. Recruitment of Accounts Officer:
No. of post: 1 post. (Gen-1)
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade Pay of Rs. 5400.

Candidates will be placed or posted in North Eastern Space Applications Centre, Shillong, Meghalaya.

Educational Qualification:

For the post of Administrative Officer: Graduation with atleast 5 years experience is the minimum educational qualification required.
For the post of Accounts Officer: B.Com or BBA or BBM with atleast 5 years experience is the minimum educational qualification required.
For the post of Purchase & Stores Officer: Graduation with atleast 5 years experience is the minimum educational qualification required.

Eligibility:

For all the above specified posts, the maximum age limit set is 35 years as on 11 February 2011. For SC/ST category candidates, the maximum age limit set is 40 years and for OBC category candidates its 38 years.

Application Fee:

There will be an application fee of Rs. 100 for each application from the candidates. Candidates can apply for more than one post but for that he needs to pay seperate application fee. SC/ST/PWD and Women candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.

Selection Process:

The selection process for all the above specified posts is divided into three phases:
i. Initial screeing based on bio-data
ii. Competitive Written Examination
iii. Personal Interview Test
