Padmashree Dr.D.Y.Patil University provides MBA in a number of different disciplines through its Department of Business Management. Dr. D.Y. Patil is a UGC recognised university which provides a number of undergraduate, postgraduate and research programmes in medicine, engineering and several disciplines. It has been accredited by NAAC and is considered to be among the best universities in India. It also provides M.Phil and PhD programmes in Business Management.
The selection of the candidate is done on the basis of the score they obtained in examinations like CAT/XAT/MAT/JMET/MAH-CET/GMAT. Those candidates who fill separate forms for D.Y.Patil University are then shortlisted and moved further for group discussion and personal interview. After all the final selection processes are over, the candidates are finally selected for D.Y.Patil University.

Eligibility Criteria:
For applying in to the Post graduate courses, the candidates should have at least a graduation degree and should have brought at least 50% marks in their graduation. Those who are going to graduate in 2011 can also apply. As far as MBA in Medicine related programs is concerned, the candidates with graduation in medical grounds will be given more preference.
Availability of Application forms:
The forms will be available directly from the Institute in CBD Belapur. Candidates can also download the form online through the website www.dypatil.in. Candidates will have to send the filled forms along with the demand draft to the institute.

Selection process:
Candidates are shortlisted for MBA programmes of NIMS on the basis of their CAT/MAT/XAT/JMET/ MH-CET/GMAT scores or DYPCET. The shortlisted candidates are then called for further selection process consisting of a Group Discussion and Personal Interview. Final selection is based on candidate’s performance in Entrance exam, Personal Interview, Group Discussion, Past Academic Record and work experience.
