Although Gynecologists and Endocrinologists are physicians who diagnose and provide treatments to ailments relating to reproduction, their area of study and work atmosphere are entirely different. Gynecology is a subdivision of internal medicine that deals with the study of female reproductive organs like vagina, uterus and ovaries and various diseases related to it. However, Endocrinology is concerned with the study of endocrine system in human body and its secretions, hormones, which are the main reasons for the habitual and physical changes in an individual.

Thereafter, they have to pursue the MD or DO program in Endocrinology. Aspirants should complete the program from an acknowledged institute so as to be a licensed Endocrinologist.
