Examination pattern of B.Tech




B.Tech is a bachelor level course in Technological sphere. It is one of the highly reputed and in demand degree both in India, as well as abroad. B.Tech degree holders have in them a different perspective about various subjects which makes them different from other degree holders. The course is set in such a way that at the end those who clear out the degree successfully know quite a lot about their trade. B.Tech examinations also contribute in the development of those pursuing the course.

The examinations in B.Tech degree course are held after every six months. These examinations are held at the university level to which the college or institute is affiliated. These examinations decide whether the candidate is suitable to be promoted to the next semester or not. The decision is taken by fixing a lowest benchmark for the students. If a student obtains marks below that bench mark, ho or she is given the Fail grade, which means one requires clearing that paper again.

The full mark of each paper of every stream varies from university to university. Few university keeps small percentage of the total marks of the theory papers as internal, where as many other reserves an ample percentage which is as high as 30 percent. The practical examinations are held separately. The practical examinations are external based which may or may not contain external invigilators. However, this trend varies from university to university.

The examination pattern is such that if a student is sincere towards his or her trade, he would be able to answer maximum questions and finally will pass with flying colors.
