Medical Colleges:

Shri Krishna Medical College came into existence in the year 1970 and it is functioning with approval from the Medical Council of India and affiliation from the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University. The MBBS course offered by the college has an intake capacity of 50 students per year and admission to this course is done based on the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination. Aspirants with chemistry, English, physics and biology subjects at the higher secondary are eligible to apply to this entrance examination.

R.B.T.S Government Homoeopathic Medical College came into existence in the year 1958 and the college offers BHMS course with affiliation from the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University. From the academic year 1993-94, the college has earned approval from the Central Council of Homeopathy.

Engineering College:

Muzaffarpur Institute of Technology came into existence in the year 1954 and the foundation stone for the institute was laid by the former Prime Minister of India Dr. Jawaharlal Nehru.
