Joint Management Entrance Test (JMET) is a national level aptitude test conducted by the IITs and IISc. The exam is conducted every year in the month of December for admittance of eligible candidates to the MBA program in IITs and IISc all over the country. The exam is highly competitive and only those well prepared candidates scoring above the cut off will be admitted to the Master of Business Administration course. The candidates those who have completed their B.Tech or M.Sc programme with not less than 60% marks are eligible for attending the Joint Management Entrance Test. Those clearing the entrance test can join the post graduate degree in business administration in IISC Bangalore/ / IIT Kharagpur / IIT Bombay / IIT Delhi / IIT Kanpur IIT Madras / IIT Roorkee. Various other institutes in the country also provide admission to the aspirants to MBA program based on JMET score.

Question Pattern of Joint Management Entrance Test (JMET) Exam

The JMET exam will be of objective type multiple choice pattern. The aspirants are required to mark the correct answer on the OMR sheet provided from the four alternative options. There will be 30 questions each from different sections viz., Verbal Communication, Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation.  The candidates have to answer all the sections with in time duration of 180 minutes. Each correct answer will be rewarded 1 mark and 0.25 marks will be deducted for wrong response.
