Andhra Pradesh State Level Police Recruitment Board is functioning under the control of the Government of Andhra Pradesh for recruitment of appropriate candidates for vacancies arising in the Andhra Pradesh Police.

Andhra Pradesh State Level Police Recruitment Board has invited applications from eligible candidates for the position of Stipendiary Cadet Trainee Police Constables (communications) and here are the details regarding the notification issued in this respect:
Name of the Vacancy: Stipendiary Cadet Trainee Police Constables (Communications)
Number of Vacancies: 516
The total 516 vacancies, include four backlog vacancies, which will be filled by ST candidates domiciled in Khammam, Warangal, Adilabad, Mahaboobnagar, West Godavari, East Godavari, Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram and Srikakulam districts.
Pay Scale: During the period of training, candidates will be eligible for a stipend as fixed by the Government from time to time and on successful completion of training, candidates will be appointed on regular scale of Rs.8440-24950.
Eligibility requirements:
Educational Qualification: Candidates as on the 1st of July 2011 must have completed their SSC or any other examination approved by the State Government and must also possess Industrial Training Institutional Certification in Information Technology or Electronic Mechanic and electronic system maintenance/computer operator and programming assistant or mechanic consumer electronics or electrician.
Physical standards:
Male: They must not be below 162 cms in height and should not have below 84 cms with minimum expansion of 4 cms
Female: They must not be below 152.5 cms in height and not less than a weight of 40 kgs.

Selection Procedure:
The selection procedure to be followed by Andhra Pradesh State Level Police Recruitment Board is classified as follows:
1. Preliminary Selection Test
2. Physical Efficiency Test
3. Written Examination
Final selection of candidates will be on the basis of relative merit of candidates in each category mentioned above. The written test will be conducted for 300 marks and it will have two papers (paper I and II). For detailed syllabus, candidates can visit the notification page.
Application fee:
A prescribed application fee of Rs.25 in the form of cash should be remitted at the time of submission of each application form and no other form of payment of fee will be accepted. Candidates belonging to SC/ST category are exempted from payment of fee.
How to apply:
Candidates meeting the requirements, will have to apply in prescribed format as given in the notification page from 1st of February and 15th of March 2012. The applications must be submitted by the candidates in person only and not by any other means to the Range Police Office at the cities of Hyderabad, Karimnagar, Kurnool, Guntur, Eluru and Visakhapatnam.
