Thapar University conducts Lateral Entry Entrance Examination in order to admit the eligible candidate directly to the second year of the engineering programme. It is one of the oldest universities of the country which was established in the year 1985.

Structure of Thapar University LEET entrance exam

The Lateral Entry Entrance Test that is being divided into two sections. The first section consists of questions from subjects such as Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Communicative English and General Awareness. The next section comprises of computer based questions.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidate should have passed diploma in the relevant subject which is of 3 years duration. They should also get qualified for the lateral entry entrance examination that has been conducted by the Thapar University. The student must be an Indian citizen with a good moral character.

How to Apply?

The application forms for the Thapar University Lateral Entry Examination can be procured from the sales counters of the Thapar University. It can also be purchased from the selected branches of Axis Bank. The aspirants those who wish to apply online can do the same by logging into the university website.  After filling the application forms, candidates are advised to take a printed copy. This copy has to be sent along with a demand draft of Rs 1500/- to the university before the last date.

How to fill the Form?

The candidates have to scan through the instructions that have been given in the website before filling the application forms. Fill all the mandatory details with utmost care; if not the application forms will be rejected. Candidates have to put heir specimen signature in the box provided for the same.
