Trainee Pilot (Group ‘A’ Gazetted), Cabinet Secretariat
Cabinet Secretariat is also termed as Secretariat Building. The building is located at New Delhi. It is authorized by Constitution of India. Mr. K. M. Chandrashekhar is the current cabinet secretary of India. The secretariat building is a set of two buildings on opposite sides of Rajpath. The housing of secretriat building includes Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of External Affairs, Ministry of Home Affairs and Prime Minister Office. The building of Cabinet Secretariat was builded or designed by Herbert Baker. cabinet Secretariat comes under the direct charge of the Prime Minister.
Job Profile:
Applications are invited from eligible Indian Citizens for making recruitment to the vacant posts of Trainee Pilot Group ‘A’ Technical (Non-Ministerial) in the Department under Cabinet Secretariat. Candidates will recruited purely on direct basis. Candidates should be ready to work anywhere in India as the post carries All India Service liability.
Eligibility:
The minimum age limit set for the post of Trainee Pilot is 20 years as on 1 February 2012.
The maximum age limit set for the post of Trainee Pilot is 30 years as on 1 February 2012.
Candidates should strictly follow this age criteria for being eligible for the posts of Trainee Pilot in Cabinet Secretariat. Relaxation in the upper age limit will be provided to the reserved categories candidates as per the rules of Government of India only.
Educational Qualification:
Candidates are required to possess the minimum educational qualification set for the post of Tarinee Pilot in Cabinet Secretariat i.e. Higher Secondary or equivalent from a recognized board. Candidates should also possess a valid Commercial Pilot License or Helicopter pilot Commercial License from Director General Civil Aviation, besides the specified educational qualification.

Vacancies for Scheduled Caste candidates: Only 3 posts are available.
Vacancies for Scheduled Tribes candidates: Only 2 posts are available.
Vacancies for OBC candidates: Only 6 posts are available.
Pay Scale: Selected candidates will be given the prescribed salary i.e. Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 5400.
Selection Process:
Selection of candidates will be made through the conduct of a Competitive Written Examination followed by a Personal Interview Test with the Selection Committee. Candidates will be required to qualify in both the stages of the selection process to get selected on the specified position in Cabinet Secretariat.
