SR Engineering College is one among the new generation colleges set up in the year of 2002.  This autonomous institution is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University and is approved by AICTE. Under graduate courses like B.Tech in Civil Engineering, B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering and B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering are offered by the institute. Other than this, they offer PG level programs like M.Tech, MBA and MCA. Admissions to B.Tech and M.Tech courses are done on the basis of EAMCET and GATE score respectively. Eligible candidates can seek admission to MCA or MBA by qualifying Integrated Common Entrance Test (ICET) for the concerned course.

Admission Details in SR Engineering College

Admission to undergraduate courses is done on the basis of an entrance exam conducted by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. The exam called EAMCET is conducted every year between the months of March and April. Candidates who have completed 10 + 2 with a minimum of 45% marks can apply for the exam. Moreover they must have pursued the course with Physics, chemistry and Mathematics as subjects.

Apart from candidates who have qualified EAMCET, those who possess valid score in AIEEE/ISEET are also considered for admission process.

Admission to M.Tech courses are done on the basis of GATE score. Aspirants who have completed engineering degree from any recognized institute can seek admission to the course in the concerned stream.

Admission to MCA course is carried out on the basis of candidate’s performance in Integrated Common Entrance Test (ICET) for MCA. Those who qualify All India MCA Common Entrance Test (AIMCET) are also eligible. Graduation with mathematics as a subject either in graduation or intermediate level is the basic eligibility required.

Bachelor degree holders from any recognized University can have admission to MBA program. Selection of eligible candidates is done by evaluating their score in CAT or Integrated Common Entrance Test (ICET) for MBA.

Final admission is done only after verification of qualifying certificates and other important documents. Such candidates must pay admission fees before the date of joining.
