Andhra Bank Probationary Officer Recruitment Exam Papers
Andhra Bank is a public sector bank founded in the year 1923. It is one of the largest banks in India registering a Capital Base of 83256 crores as total business. The bank has a large network of 664 ATMs, 1371 Branches, 66 Extension Counters, 38 satellite offices. The bank has successfully implemented its core banking facilities in most of its branches, and the remaining nearing completion.
The recruitment for the job of a Probationary officer consists of two basic stages, a written exam followed by a personal interview. Based on the marks obtained in both these phases the final selection is made. The written exam is further divided into two sections, the objective part and the descriptive part.
Format of Examination:
1. Written examination: The paper is divided into two sections the objective section consisting of multiple choice questions penalizing candidates for wrong attempts. The descriptive section is compulsory to answer in language either Hindi or English, however, the descriptive exam marks doesn’t count on the final evaluation. The objective test consists of the following sections:
Reasoning Ability 75 marks
Quantitative Aptitude 50 marks
General Awareness and 50 marks
English Language 50 marks
Time allotted is 135 minutes.
The candidates are required to score at least 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates) in the written examination, and then the cut off is decided based on the relative performance
2. Interview: An Interview is then conducted and the candidates are finally selected based on the marks scored in the written exams and interview.

sir iam bhagya, my cast is SC i have 56% in Btech.iam eligible for PO exam?they menstioned degree with 60% but i thougt that for GOVT jobs SC/ST have 55% only.please tell me iam eligible for PO exam.
