Army Institute of Technology, established in the year 1994, is situated in Pune. The Institute was set up with an aim to provide technical education to students and to enable them so that they can be prepared for the challenges offered to them by the outside world. AICTE has approved the college.
Courses Offered
The course offered by the college include bachelor’s degree in Electronics & and Telecommunication Engineering (60 seats), Computer Science and Engineering (60 seats), mechanical engineering (60 seats), and Information technology (60 seats).
Placement
The students of the institute are placed in reputed companies like Iflex Technologies, Covelix Technologies, HP, EQ Technologies, Anand Solutions, Essar Solutions, IBM, Microsoft, Spider Logic, Tata Infotech, WIPRO Ltd., and Videocon etc.
Infrastructure
The college has a sprawling lush green campus. The area of the campus is more than 30 acres. The central library of the college houses over 10,142 books with more than 4000 titles. There are 289 computers in the Computer laboratories of the college and the laboratories all have server connectivity.
Admission Procedure and Eligibility Criteria
The admission is given on the basis of the rank in the entrance exam of the institute. Those who do well in the entrance test are also provided with scholarships by the college so that the students can build a bright future.
The entrance exam for admission is held at national level and the minimum marks requirement for being eligible is an aggregate of 40% marks in physics, chemistry and mathematics. Also the student must be citizen of India.
