Re: Is Diploma after 12th useful in comparison to B.Tech?
B.Tech is the Bachelor of Technology. It is a four years undergraduate course in technology. The entry into this course is given on the basis of ranks secured in various entrance exams like Joint Entrance examination, State level engineering exams, private institute entrance exams like SRMEEE, VITEEE etc.
When you have done 10+2 then there is no need to do diploma and also there would be no benefit of that course instead you should go for the Bachelor of technology course for better career and job opportunities. You can appear for various entrance exams mentioned above to pursue bachelor of technology or you can get admission under management quota seats in private engineering colleges if you are not able to crack entrance exams. Top institutes for B.Tech in different streams are IITs, NITs, IIITs and other government engineering colleges. You must have done 10+2 in science stream with compulsory subjects as PCM to be eligible undergraduate engineering colleges. |

Re: Is Diploma after 12th useful in comparison to B.Tech?
No, diploma after 12th is not more useful than B.Tech. B.Tech is more valued as one gets graduated after pursuing the course. Moreover, the job scope after B.Tech is quite huge as compared to diploma course. The salary and designation is better after B.Tech than after pursuing diploma course. Even you can go for higher studies like post graduation courses after completion of B.Tech course which provide more lucrative career options.

Re: Is Diploma after 12th useful in comparison to B.Tech?
The B.Tech is the engineering degree course which is more valuable than a Diploma. If you join diploma after 10th standard means it will be good. If you studied +2 means you can pursue a B.Tech that will be more useful for your career in the future. The salary will be more for the B.Tech holders than the diploma holders. In future if you want to study in abroad means your B.Tech will be considered, in many countries for MS they ask for 16 years of formal education (10+2+4).

After completion of 12th standard, you can apply for B.Tech course because it is good for you.
After completion of 10th standard, diploma course is good. If you can do diploma course after 12th standard then two years of your career was wasted. |

Re: Is Diploma after 12th useful in comparison to B.Tech?
No,Diploma and B.Tech are not same even if you do your diploma after completing your 12th standard.
B.Tech will be considered as a Under-Graduation program whereas diploma is equivalent to 12th standard. So B.Tech and Diploma will never be treated as same. I suggest you to go for B.Tech rather then diploma which will help you for your bright future. As you completed your 12th standard you are eligible to go for b.tech if you have scored more than 85% in your 11th and 12th standard then you are eligible for IIT/NIT for all these you have to appear for entrance test first. Once you qualify the test you will be allotted seat based on the meritlist and the options you entered in web counselling. |
