Hi Sir, Srinivas here, am studying diploma on year basis in 2005 and I have backlog in 1st year 2 subjects, all clear in 2nd year and 1 subject in 3rd year so m working in company and now am interested to complete my diploma. Please guide me. What to do? Thank you.

No, you can't complete the Diploma course which you have left sometime back. For every course, there will be minimum and maximum duration. The minimum duration of Diploma course is three years and the maximum duration is six years. If the maximum duration of six years from the date you have taken admission in Diploma course is not completed then, you can complete your Diploma course.

Sorry to inform you that it is quite not possible to complete diploma course after 12 years of gap. 4 years to 6 years of gap are allowed under most of the university in which candidates can complete their incomplete course or clear their supplementary examinations, but no university allow candidates to completed their incomplete course after a 12 years long gap.

It will depend on the rules and regulations of the concerned university. If there is a time frame to complete a course, then you must complete it in the given time, otherwise the course will become invalid.

Hence, make sure that time is still left, if you want to complete your left over diploma course now. Normally, for a 3 years diploma course, 5 years is the maximum time allotted to complete.
