Is there diploma course facility available in mechanical or electrical branch in IIT-B?


Hi, My younger brother wants to do diploma either in mechanical or in electrical brach after completing tenth in IIT-B. so it is my humble request to give the details of diploma facility in mechanical or electrical branch of IIT-B. Can you please answer me soon? Thanks!

IIT-B doesn't offer diploma in engineering course. You can only get admission in B.Tech degree course through JEE Main and Advanced.

For diploma, one has go appear for polytechnic entrance exam, which is based on class 10th qualification.

No, there is no facility to pursue diploma course in mechanical or any other stream at IIT-B. So, you have to apply for DET exam to get best college to pursue diploma in mechanical or electrical stream. Otherwise go for 12th standard and appear in JEE to get admission in IIT for pursuing B.Tech in various streams. For more academic details just visit the below given link:
