Is my friend eligible to become a guarantor for my brother's Education Loan?


Hello,
I'm a System Engineer fresher, working in Wipro Technologies from the last 5 months. My brother needs an Education Loan upto Rs. 6.5 Lacs. I have one friend and he is staying from the last three years in Bangalore. His net pay is Rs. 18000 per month. Is he eligible as a guarantor?

Yes, your friend is eligible to become a guarantor for your brother's education loan since he has stable income source. He must be willing to become the guarantor and should cooperate with the bank complying with its terms and conditions and completing all the necessary norms as per bank's instructions and providing the necessary documents as per bank's orders.
