Procedure to apply for government education loan? Can you please give me the complete steps which I need to follow for the same? It will be really helpful if you can provide me the details soon because am not sure on the procedure. Thank you!

Eligibility for education loan:-

- You must be Indian citizen.

- You must be doing your course from recognised institution.

- Your co applicant should have enough income or there should be sufficient family assets.

How to apply for education loan:-

- Firstly you should have to complete the process of admission and then you have to concentrate on taking out and education loan.

- You will have to provide a proof of admission to selected in recognised institution.

- Proof of your consistently High academic performance along with the last mark sheet.

- You must need to provide schedule of fees.

- If you are going to study abroad, you need to produce your passport with Valid Visa.

- If takes about 15 days for an education loan to be sanctioned.

The government offers scholarships and banks both nationalized and private banks offer education loans. To get an education loan, you have to apply to the banks. Various nationalized banks offer education loans to students. Banks offer education loan of up to Rs 10 Lakhs for studies in India. For an education loan of up to Rs 4 Lakhs no security is required. Parents must be joint borrowers. Students can contact a bank branch and follow the instructions carefully to get an education loan. Students have to submit the required documents like letter of admission, fee schedule, PAN Card, Aadhar Card of the student and parents, Income Proof etc. for getting an education loan.

Eligibility criteria as well as documents required for education loans are given below:-

You must need an Identity proof that is- Voter ID, Passport, PAN, Driving License any one of them.

You must have Address Proof:-
Latest Electricity Bill
Bank Account statement
Latest Phone bill

You must have a latest salary slip showing all deductions or Form 16 along with recent salary certificate.

You must have Bank statements of last 6 months.

Copy of admission letter or the Institute along with Fees schedule.

Mark sheet of SSC, HSC, degree courses.

Candidate must have scored at least 50 percent marks during HSC & graduation.

Candidate must have secured admission in India or Abroad through entrance test.

The education loan should be provided to those students who have obtained admission to career-oriented courses either at graduate or post-graduate level.
