exams then
appear in exams..
pass in exam...
get counseling letter
there after you take admission in bTECH lateral entry ...
so you join in 2nd year...

Both the direct entry to the 1st year, and lateral entry to the 2nd year, are made through different examinations, and the exam for lateral entry includes the syllabus of the 1st year BTech. So if you want to go for lateral entry, you must qualify the said exam.

or 2011 jelet dates are not release but last year i.e 2010 dates are

Date of Entrance Examination: 18th April, 2010
Last Date for receipt of completed application forms: 12th January, 2010

Hi..
You have a lot of options to join various colleges.
You have to directly join in the second year. Besides that as you are from diploma background so you will get better oppportunity to join in a core company.

if you completed your diploma course in civil engineering..........
then you can admission in b.tech ........
for admission in b.tech you should give joint entrance examination.....of some states....
like Bengal joint,Jharkhand joint,Maharashtra,comed k..............etc .....and
a lot of institutes in which you are interested........
so carry on your preparation......

You can take direct admission if aggrigates 50% for general 45% for reserved in any stream . Some institutes take test while some do not need any tests.

Yes after completing your DIPLOMA you would be able to get admission. This admission procedure is known as LATERAL ENTRY SCHEME or DIPLOMA TO DEGREE course. after getting admission You will get admitted directly to second year.There are so many colleges and the procedures are different in all. Some take their own exam and some take admission through your percentage so You should have told the name of college in which you want admission so as to get the total information about procedure.

Hi Friend ,

If you wish to do engineering you need to give the entrance Exam for the same .There are many engineering entrance tests like MPPET,UPTU,,AIEEE,IIt etc.

IIT-JEE : India's one of the toughest Examination to get in Top Engineering Colleges in India .


AIEEE: If you get qualified in AIEEE then you will get seat in NIT's

State Engineering Entrance Exams : To get admission in your state engineering colleges .like MPPET,UPTU,DCE etc


But as you are 2009 passed out you have only one chance left for AIEEE, so make a best shot .You cant give IIT-JEE but you can appear in your State Entrance Exam.

yes , you can get the lateral admission in betch after diploma .....you have to give AIEEE (all india engineering entrance exam ) exam , IITJEE, HSCS, UPTU which are held every year in months of april , may

IITJEE: it is the most toughest and reputed institute of india for btech it takes exam every year in the month of april ..... its exam name is JEE

AIEEE: this is another exam by which you can take admission in various colleges like NIT,DCE,NSIT, PEC

State Engineering Entrance Exams : To get admission in your state they(particular states) take their own exams like UPTU for uttarpardesh state,
MPPET for madhya pardesh state, HSCS for Haryana state

VIT university : another reputed college that takes their own exam for admission

INDRAPRASTH UNIVERSITY , delhi : they take their own exams for admission ...their main campus is in DWARKA
