To become a software engineer just appear for exams like IIT or any engineerning and get admission in Btech computer engineering.
YOu will become software engineer by choosing for sofware specialization

there are many competitive exams after 12th like IIT,AIEEE,CET of various states.......you should appear for such exams.........bcoz u need to pursue a BTECH or BE degree to get graduation in the field of software engineering..........

You can be a software engineer after completing engineering and get placed in IT company.
firstly you to take admission in engineering college by clearing any of the engineering entrance and choose branch like cs, it or ece as these will helpful in your future career as software engineer.
You can also do MCA who are equivalent to software engineer.

For becoming a software engineer you can do B.Tech. in computer science, or you can do BCA

and then after doing any of these courses you should go for the masters degree to become a good software engineer..good luck..

For becoming an software engineer you have to clear any pre engineeering test either IIT, Aieee, State PET, BITS, or any other exam take admission in CS , it, or EC and then you can be a part of software field.

To become a software engineer is not too easy but everything is possible if you are ready to give all your efforts.
After 12th first step to take admission for B.Tech and Than do M.Tech or MCA to get better career in IT field. But its not enough to make a software engineer. you are required to have strong command over laguages as C,C++, java, .net etc. Just try to be serious from the beginning and do practice and practice so that you can have command over languages to become a software engineer.

to become a software engineer after 12th
u may give IIT JEE or AIEE xam and clear those xams
friend after finishing you can try for gate exam through which you get reputed colleges.... after you get score you can choose a B.E IT that is INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY based on full of programming softwares..... if you want to learn even hardware you an join B.E.computer science in that you get software and hardware.....

try any instution to study

just take arts college .after finishing HSS take major as IT or CS work hard in languages that most company wanted at the same increase ur level of English knowledge and Aps skill thats enough to be Software Engg.

After 12th you have to do a proffesional course in computer science. B.Tech(Computer Science), BCA, B.SC(IT & CS) after completion of your graduation you have to crark selection exam for varius IT companies.

practice softwarecompany oriented programming language well

if your desire is to be a software engineer then you have to complete an engineering course in computer science or information technology which is about a four year course after completing your 12th,you can even do specialization programs like learning maya courses and other such courses

there are two ways what i know ..

1st one is write a CET or COMED-K exam you will get a rank in that according that you will get a seat in Engineering College.. select a computer science or Information science branch(ANY ONE)
after 4 years you will became a good Software Engineer.(IF you studied properly) ..

2nd one join to BCA(3 years course) then do MCA (2 years).

well you want to become a software engineer, i am giving you the step wise steps and follow them one by one
step 1. pass your 12 exam with minimum of 60% percentage
step 2.qualify one of the exam like aieee, or iit
step 3.take admission in any one of the college under aieee or iit
step 4.take computer or IT branch
step 5.till 3rd year you must posses 60% aggregate to eligible for placements
step 6 clear interview then
step 7.now you are a software engineer

for becoming a software engineer you should do B.Tech in Computer Science or you can do BCA also..choice is yours..

hey frnd if u have taken commerce in 11 and 12 and if u wana go for software enginnering then u can only get diploma from niit u cant do iit, because it related with 11 and 12 science and iit is enginnering entrance exam

If you want to become a software engineer than you should choose engineering.Engineering is very good option for you.You can be a software engineer by choosing computer science branch in engineer.The first step after 12th is you should give entrance paper of engineering.You can give entrence paer for engineering like AIEEE,IITT and state level engineering entrance exam.You can choose any language which helps you to get a job.Java and .net are good options for you.There is so much scope for java programmer.

So do hard work for that.

My dear friend.......

You have to fight the entrance exam for get best engineering college in india, you have to fight these exams:--

IITJEE
AIEEE
VITEEE
PET

for this you have to prepare your 11th and 12th subjects PM (physics chemistry and maths).

IF you get in good college then you should take the computer science branch. this branch contains all the knowledge of the computer, and you will study about the programming languages, java is the best language by which you can be a good software developer.
