Age limit and number of attempts to appear for CSAT Exam?


i would like to know the age limit and no of attempts for obc categories for writing csat exams

CSAT is part of Civil Service exam.This exam is conducted by UPSC every year once.

To appear for this exam
>>You should have complete graduation degree with any stream from a recognized university.
And your age should be between 21 to 33 year (as you belong to OBC category).
And you can attempt 7 times.

If you fulfilled with criteria,then you can appear for this year exam

Civil Service Preliminary Exam:
Issuing of application form is 4th Feb 2012 to 5th March 2012.
Exam will be held on 20th May 2012.

I.A.S exam exam is conducted by U.P.S.C once in a year.

Qualification:- Pass graduation with any stream fron recginiced university.

Age limit:-
For Open category:- 21-30 year
For OBC category:- 21-33 YEAR
For ST/SC category:- 21-37 year

Number of Attempts:-
For open category:- 4 attempts
For ST/SC category:- 7 attempts


CIVIL SERVICES (PRELIMINARY) EXAM., 2012
Date of notification:-04.02.2012
Last Date of receipt of form:- 05.03.2012(MONDAY)
Date of exam:- 20.05.2012(SUNDAY)

CIVIL SERVICES (MAIN) EXAM., 2012
Date of exam:- 05.10.2012(FRIDAY)

Eligibility Criteria for CSAT

Age:

The age of the general applicants should be between 21-30 years. A relaxation of 3 years is given to those belonging to OBC and 5 years to that for SC/ST candidates.

Educational qualification:

The applicant must be a graduate in any stream from any of the recognized Universities of India.

Number of attempts:


Every candidate appearing at the Civil Services Examination, who is otherwise eligible, shall be permitted four attempts at the examination.This restriction on the number of attempts will not apply in the case of SC/ST candidates. Also, the number of attempts permissible to candidates belonging to OBCs, who are otherwise eligible, shall be seven. IAS/IFS officers are not eligible to appear for the exam.

1.Age :

A candidate must not be more than 20 years.

2.Educational Qualification :

The candidate must have 50% marks in 10th and 12th standard.
