How is ICSE board better than CBSE board. It is heard that students with ICSE board face problems when taking competitive exams like PMT, PET, etc. Please explain?

ICSE- is a challenged course for Indian students because the subjects dealt in for icse students are dealt globally, lots and lots of syllabus are covered under icse and thus students donot be able to compete with the globe through this vast syllabus criteria

as far as competitive exams are considered cbse is far more better
the bast way is to study in icse till class 10 followed by cbse.
all major exams such as aieee, jee aipmt follow cbse pattern.

See Board is not the main factor. Fine if you want to know why it is not the factor ? I just explain it gradually. See except state Government board both I.C.S.E. and C.B.S.E. board are good enough in their activities. Yes there is a little bit difference in between these two. But a good student can easily overcome these kind of problems. It is said that students with I.C.S.E. board face a lot of problems when they appeared in W.B.C.S., P.E.T.,P.M.T. etc examination. But I think that is not true because in maximum cases the students of I.C.S.E. board were getting fatigue and feared. So they can not give the all in the examination compared to C.B.S.E. board students.

If you are from I.C.S.E. board then don't think like that. These are all voguish things.

How is ICSE Board better than CBSE for the candidates with regard to competitive exams?

I am not agree with this statement that "ICSE board is better than CBSE for competitive examination ".As you can see following things :

• Most of the Indian competitive exams are based on the CBSE syllabus
• It has less subjects than ICSE and is easier to get good marks
• CBSE is helpful for Medical and Engineering competitive exams as it cover almost all syllabus .
  
• There are more objective kind of questions, which prepares students for national level competitive exams
• More number of schools have affiliation with the CBSE compared to ICSE

Advantage of ICSE over CBSE

• It has more Languages to study
• Knowledge of computer language helps engineering students as in engineering course, they need to study these language
• Generally English of ICSE medium is better than a general CBSE student
• SCIENCE and Mathematics are same in both CBSE and ICSE .
• For pursing career in Management (MBA) ICSE is suggested.
  

The rest depends upon quality of teachers .If teachers are better then student will definitely perform better .

as far as competetive exams are considered at ug level cbse is better.

I WANT TO KNOW ABOUT FUTURE OF ICSE STUDENTS

I am not able to decid that in which board i should silect for my child in from bigning( icsc or cbsc)

What iis the pattern of marking in ICSE board?
