Am I eligible to appear for IBPS Exam having completed only Higher Secondary and with an age of 29 years from OBC category?
When will be IBPS exam.I am 29yrs now and i completed only higher secondary and i am from OBC category.Do i able to write this exam.Please give me solution for my question.

IBPS- INSTITUTE FOR BANKING AND PERSONAL SELECTION is a selection test for the post of clerks and P.O. of designated banks under IBPS which is conducted every year.
As you are not a graduate and have completed 12th you are only be eligible to apply for IBPS clerical post in Bank. The age limit for IBPS clerical post is 18 to 28 years of age which is relaxed for 3 years for OBC category candidate for which you are eligible to apply at the age of 29 years. The IBPS can be applied through on line only which is based on written test followed by personal Interview. |

After completing Higher Secondary examination you are Only eligible to apply for IBPS Clerical Recruitment examination, The examination is Conducted every year.
IBPS Stands for Institute of Banking and Personnel Selection and to become IBPS Officer, you have to complete your Any one of the examinations : >> You have to complete your 10th examination with minimum 60% Marks from a recognized Board. Yes, you are eligible to apply for IBPS Clerical Examination after completion of your 12th class. And the exam is conducted by every year.
IBPS stands for Institute of Banking and Personnel Selection. And it is conducts the CWE(Common Written Examination) for the post of Clerical Cadre, Bank PO and Specialist Officer every year. The Eligibility for Bank Clerical Examination: Qualification: **The candidate must have to complete 10th with 60% from a recognized board. (OR) ** The candidate must have to complete 12th with 50% from a recognized board. (OR) **The candidate must have to complete graduation with 50% from a recognized board or university. Age limit: The age limit in between 18 to 28 years. For SC/ST/OBC has upper age relaxation. The Notification of this year examination will be published soon in the month of July/August. IBPS Clerk Eligibility Details: Institute of Banking Personnel Selection – IBPS will be conducted Common Written Examination (CWE) from the year 2011 on wards for the recruitment of Clerical Cadre vacancies has been approved by each of the 19 participating public sector banks. Dear Friend,
You are eligible for the IBPS exam if you have completed your higher secondary and you are 29 years of age but only for clerical posts not for Bank PO Posts . The Eligibility Criteria you require for the exam are : * You must have passed your higher secondary (12th) with a minimum of 50% marks from any recognized board. * Your age must lie in between 18-28 years. * There is also a relaxation in upper age of 3 years for OBC candidates and 5 years for SC/ST Candidates. * You must have Indian Nationality.
