Hello, I am a TYBAF student. Will I be eligible for appearing for CSAT exam after completing my graduation in a accounting and finance course? It will be really helpful if you can give me the details on the same as soon as possible? Thank you!

CSAT stands for Civil Service Aptitude Test and examination is conducted by UPSC every year for recruitment as an I.A.S, I.P.S, I.F.S Officer etc.

The eligibility to appear for examination is :-

Candidate must have passed bachelor degree in any discipline from a recognised university.

Candidate's age must be between 21-32 years with relaxation in upper limit for reserved category.

So, you can appear for examination after bachelor degree in accounting and finance course. For more information about examination visit at www.upsc.gov.in.

You have completed graduation degree so you are eligible for CSAT exam.

Graduation degree with minimum percentage marks from a recognized university are eligible for CSAT exam. Final year candidates are also eligible for CSAT exam.

Age criteria for CSAT exam:-

Your age should be in between 20 to 32 years.

Age relaxation :-

5 years relaxation for SC/ST candidates
3 years relaxation for OBC Candidates
10 years relaxation for PHC candidates
5 years relaxation for Ex-serviceman

CSAT refers Civil Services Aptitude Test ( popularly known as Preliminary Test ) is the stage first of Civil Services examination held by UPSC for recruitment of administrative officers.

Yes you will be certainly eligible for appearing in CSAT after completing your graduation degree in Accounting and Finance on the educational requirement ground as for the same any bachelor degree holder are eligible.

Other than educational requirement mentioned above you must also have the citizenship of India along with your age lying within 21 years to 32 years for appearing in the same examination.
