I am an OBC Student. I Scored 54 marks in JEE Mains Maths - 4, Phy -10, Chem - 40. Will I get direct admission in IISER? What is the cut off followed? Where else I can get the admission? Can you please guide me with the details on the same? Thank you!

No, you are not eligible to get admission in IISER after completion of JEE main with 54 marks. The required cut off marks with category wise are given below.

CUTOFF MARKS

=> General = 295

=> OBC NCL = 230

=> SC = 225

=> ST = 108

=> PH = 230

As per your marks in Joint Entrance Examination, my suggestion to you is that you can apply for admission in private engineering college which accept your score.

As you have got 54 marks in JEE Main, so you cannot apply for IISER admission via JEE Main Counselling.

• General - 295
• OBC NCL - 230
• SC - 225
• ST - 108
• Kashmiri Migrant - 200
• PH - 230

You must have secured at least 230 marks to be eligible for IISER admission.
