Am i eligible for IES exam if I am a MBE computer engineering student?


sir i mBE computer engg student i m not elligible for IES exam so please suggest any other option

IES Stands for Indian Engineering Service examination

If you have engineering degree then you are applicable for IES exam OR M.Sc. degree or equivalent with Wireless Communication, Electronics, Radio Physics or Radio Engineering as a special subject is also acceptable for certain posts.

But you should write the exam on one from subjects .

1.Civil Engineering
2.Electrical Engineering
3.Mechanical engineering.
4.Electronics and Communication Engineering.

If You are from B-Tech or BE in CSE department then you are applicable for IES exam.

Final year student also eligible for IES exam .

The applicant age should be in between 21 yrs to 30 yrs.

Number of Attempts:

General Category:4 attempts
OBC Category:7 attempts
SC/ST Category: No limit

The others Jobs for you if you have BE /B-Tech degree in CSE-

ECIL Engineers Corporation of India Limited
Engineers India Limited
DRDO
ISRO
BHEL
IOCL
ONGC
SAIL
IAS
IPS
Steel Pant
UPSC Civil services
IBPS

I am sorry to say you that Computer Engineering students are not eligible for IES Examination

Indian Engineering Services

Eligibility criteria:-

Educational Qualifications :

Degree in :

>> Electrical Engineering
>> Electronics & Communications Engineering
>> Civil Engineering
>> Mechanical Engineering

>> M.Sc. degree or equivalent with Wireless Communication, Electronics, Radio Physics or Radio Engineering as a special subject is also acceptable for certain posts.

>> Students of final year Engineering or equivalent degree are also eligible.

Age Limititations :

Candidate should not less than 21 years and not more than 30 years as on August 1st on year of conduct of examination ( upper age limit relaxable for SCs/STs,OBCs and certain others )

Exam Syllabus and Pattern details :-

Paper I (Objective Paper) - Total Marks 600.

General ability test and General studies - Total Duration 2 hours.
Engineering Paper I - Total Duration 2 hours.
Engineering Paper II - Total Duration 2 hours.

Paper II (Conventional Paper) - Total Marks 600.

Engineering Paper I - Total duration will be 3 hours.
Engineering Paper II - Total duration will be 3 hours.

Last date for application :-

Usually in the first week of March in year of conduct of examination.For details refer website www.upsc.gov.in

Yes, you are not eligible to apply for Indian Engineering Services Exam after completing your Bachelor Engineering course in Computer Science. To apply for IES Exam candidates should have:

· A four years bachelor engineering degree and it should be approved from the AICTE.
· Candidates engineering degree should be from Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics and Communication and Civil Engineering.
· Candidate’s minimum age should be 21 years and Candidates age should not be above 30 years.

But you can apply for other exams to get jobs in Indian Government sectors. These are as follows:

AFCAT (Air-Force Common Admission Test)
· To apply for this exam, minimum educational qualification required is engineering degree in any discipline from recognized university.

· Through this exam you will be able to apply for Technical Services.

SSC UDC
· Minimum educational qualification required is bachelor degree pass out with any discipline from recognized university.

IBPS PO/SBI PO
· Minimum educational qualification required is bachelor degree pass out in any discipline from recognized university.
· Your minimum marks should be 60% in bachelor degree course.
· Your minimum age should be 21 years and your age should not be above 30 years.

IBPS IT Officer
· Minimum educational qualification required is bachelor degree in Computer science/Computer Application/Information Technology.
· Your minimum marks in bachelor degree course should be 60%.
· Your minimum age should be 19 years and your age should not be above 32 years.

UPSC Civil Services
· Your minimum educational qualification should be bachelor degree pass out in any discipline from recognized state/central university.
· Your minimum age should be 21 years and your age should not be above 30 years.

Educational Qualifications required to apply for IES exams is:

>> BE/BTECH pass in any stream
OR
>> Passed section A and Section B of Instution examinations of Institution of Engineers
Or
>> Graduate Membership Examination of Institute of electronics and Telecommunication Engineers


Age-
Minimum 21 years
Maximum 30 years
OBC gets 3 years and SC/ST gets 5 years age relaxations

You are not eligible for the IES exam.IES means Indian Economic Service or Indian Statistical Services Examination and for to write this exam you must have the following eligibility criteria:

Educational Qualification:
For the IES (Indian Economic Services Exam) candidates must have postgraduate degree in Economics/Applied Economics/Business Economics

And

For the ISS (Indian Statistical Servies) candidates must have postgraduate degree either in Mathematics or Statistical

Age limit: Minimum candidates age must be 21 yrs and max is 30 yrs for the Gen candidates or for the other reserved categories have some age relaxation in the upper age limit.

You are not eligible for the IES exam.

IES stands for Indian Engineering Service.

This exam conducted by UPSC once in a year.

Eligibility Criteria:


You should be origin of India.

You should complete the Graduation in Engineering from recognized University.

Percentage not required for this exam.

Final year pursuing candidates are eligible.

Your age limit should be between 21 to 30 years.

Upper age relaxation is applicable for other categories.

3 years relaxation for OBC.

5 years relaxation for SC\ST.

10 years relaxation for PH.

No of Attempts:


4 for General category

7 for OBC category

No limit for SC\ST categories.

Selection Process:


Preliminary Exam

Main Exam

Interview

Sorry, to say that but, you are not eligible for this exam as you have completed your study in Computer branch.....

A candidate who have completed their Bachelor Degree in Engineering Stream that is B.E/B.Tech in the following branch can apply for this exam from Recognized Universities can apply for this exam......


1. Civil Engineering

2. Mechanical Engineering

3. Electrical Engineering

4. Electronics & Communications Engineering

Iam really sorry to say this you are not eligible for IES(Indian Engineering Service) which is conducted by the UPSC once in a year. The complete details about this exam are given below.


Eligibility criteria:-

The candidate should be complete Engineering graduation in any of the following stream from a recognised university.

Civil Engineering,

Mechanical Engineering,

Electrical Engineering,

Electronics and Communication Engineering.


OR

The candidate should be complete Master's degree or equivalent with Wireless communication or Electronics or Radio Physics or Radio Engineering as a special subject from a recognised university.

Candidate must be an Indian origin.

Percentage not required to appear this exam.


Age criteria:-

The age limits are 21 years to 30 years,

Three years upper age relaxation for OBC candidates,

Five years upper age relaxation for SC/ST candidates,

Ten years upper age relaxation for PWD candidates.


Selection procedure:-

Preliminary Examination,

Mains Examination,

Personal Interview.
