Am I eligible for UGC NET after completing B.E from reputed institutes in first class
I have completed B.E(computer science &engg) from a reputed institution in first class.I wish to work as a lecturer. Am I eligible for UGC-NET?

NET stands for National Eligibility Test which is conducted by the University Grants Commission. This exam is conducted for, 1)JRF 2)Lectureship post 3)Ph.D admission The educational qualification required for NET exam is masters degree from a recognized university with above 55% marks. Your age should be below 28 years for JRF post. Age relaxation upto 5 years is provided to the candidates belonging to SC / ST / PWD / OBC.For the post of Lectureship, There is no upper age limit.
