Am I eligible for UPSC examination after scoring 50% marks?
Dear sir/mam i am simple graduate with below 50% marks , sir may i eligible for UPSC EXAMINATION.
Please help as soon as possible.. |

You have not mentioned the specialisation during graduation. You are certainly eligible for the civil service exam. There is no cutoff in the marks required for the same. You should prepare for any two subjects provided in the UPSC site. Along with that you can prepare for the aptitude oriented test. Also read newspapers, year books etc to prepare for the general awareness section.

UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) conducts various entrance exam for appointment of in the various top post under central Govt. The entrance Exams are:-
NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY COMBINED DEFENCE SERVICE CIVIL SERVICE EXAMINATION As you are a Graduate you are eligible for Combined Defence Service exam and Civil Service Exam. There is no percentage of marks criteria required for the above exams to apply. Hence you can apply for CDS and Civil Service Exam. If you are interested for Defence service you may apply for CDS for entry in to Indian Military Academy.Naval cademy, Air Force Academy and Officer's Training Academy of CDS. The eligible candidate must be an Indian National having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass in any stream from a recognised University within the age of 19 to 25 years with good Physical and Mental health. Through Civil Service Exam the selection is for appointment of IAS/IPS/IRS/IFS etc. The eligible candidate must be an Indian national having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass in any stream from a recognised University within the age of 21 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate. I have listed here the UPSC entrance exams . B-TECH ans BE student are also eligible for this exam .But you have not any Pending Backlog. Final Year student are also eligible for CDSE exam.There is no percentage marks criteria. Age criteria is given below- Indian Military Academy - 19-24 Years Air Force Academy - 19-23 Years Naval Academy - 19-22 Years Officer's Training Academy - 19-25 Years FOR CSAT EXAMS=> Those candidate are graduate from any recognized university with any discipline are eligible for CSAT exam. But your age should be in between 22 to 30 years old.Age relaxation is provide for SC/ST/OBC category as per govt rule. The maximum attempts for SC/ST candidate is Unlimited. For OBC candidate it is 7 years and for general candidate it will be 5 years. Also you must be in citizen in India. The others exams are SCRA ,CMS and CPF ... So you can apply those organizations. . |

dear friend.
the eligibility criteria for upsc is minimum of 50% in your graduation with any stream from a recognised university. since you have scored less than 50% in your graduation so you are not eligible for upsc. if you belongs to sc or st category then you will be eligible other wise you will not. all the best. |

Please help as soon as possible. hi friend, ELIGIBLITY FOR UPSC EXAMS 1.Candidate must have bachlor degree with atleast 55% degree in any stream. 2.Age Limits: A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years on 1st August, in the year of examination.
