Hi,
In order to become Excise Officer, the books,qualification and methods that are required are given below:- Qualification ---> You should possess a Bachelors degree in any stream. Age ---> Minimum is 18 and maximum is 27 Exam Time ---> Normally exam is held in May or June. Examination Pattern ---> At first you have to appear for "Prelims" exam.The subjects to be considered are General Intelligence, General Awareness and Arithmetic. If you clear the Prelims or Preliminary exam,then you have to sit for the Main examination. It consists of 2 part. a) Written Exam 2)Personality Test Books to be followed ---> 1) Central Excise Manual by V.S Datey 2) Upkar's General Knowledge Digest 3) Spectrum's Quantitative Aptitude |
