Can a B.Com Graduate do PG in Economics (Distance) and appear for Indian Economic Services?


Respected Sir, I have completed my Graduation with B.Com and now I want to pursue PG in Economics with Distance Education? After completing PG in Economics I want to appear for Indian Economics Service so I want to know can a B.Com Graduate do PG in Economics (Distance) and appear for Indian Economics Service? After completion of PG in Economics, you are eligible for Indian Economics Service exam.

IES stands for Indian Economics Service. This is conducted by Union Public Service Commission.

Those candidates who have completed Post graduate degree in Economics/Applied Economics/Business Economics/Econometrics course from a recognized University are eligible for Indian Economics Service exam.

Your age should be in between 21 to 30 years. Age relaxation is provided for reserved category candidates.
