Civil Service Examination is not limited for candidates belonging to a particular stream and therefore, a graduate in any discipline, including computer science can write the examination. Apart from being a graduate, candidate must be within the prescribed age limit which is as follows:

Minimum Eligible Age: 21 years
Maximum age limit for candidates belonging to General Category: 30 years
Maximum age limit for candidates belonging to OBC Category: 33 years
Maximum age limit for candidates belonging to SC/ST Category: 35 years

The examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission every year and for further information, refer to its official website.

Yes you can write IAS exam.Any student who completed graduation can write IAS.The age limit for IAS exam is 21-30 years.For OBC students 3 years relaxation is there and for SC/ST students 5 years relaxation is there.

The posts of IAS are filled up through the civil services examination conducted by the UPSC.

According to the eligibility criteria released by the UPSC :

* The candidate should be a citizen of India.

* The candidate should have completed graduation through any stream under the scheme of 10+2+3 at least form a recognized university.

* The candidate should be of 21 years at least at the time of application.

* The candidate should be physically and medically fit.

So, with a graduation degree in computer science, you will be eligible for the CSE.
