No , female candidates are not allowed to apply for NDA examination . NDA examination is only for Male candidates not female candidates .

NDA Stands for National Eligibility Test and this examination is conducted twice in a year by Union Public Service Commission .

NDA Exam is conducted for recruitment of :-

• Army wings
• Navy wings
• Air force wings

To apply for this examination , the candidate should satisfy the following eligibility criteria :-

The candidate must be citizen of India .

Unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply and female candidates are not eligible to apply for this examination .

Qualification :- The candidate should have a completed 12th examination or equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution or School .

Army wings :- The candidate should have a completed 12th Std with any stream or equivalent qualification .

Navy or Air force :- The candidate should have a completed 12th Std with Physics , Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects from a recognized School .

There is no minimum marks required for this examination . Intermediate is enough to appear for this examination .

Age should be between 16.5 years and 19 years at the time of appearing for this examination and there is no upper age limits for this examination .

NDA is an institute which offers only boys to join defense forces.

Girls are not allowed to join through NDA,
even girls may not apply for defense services just after their 12th ,
they need to be graduate to apply for defense services.,

But eligibilities for NDA are:

12th passed out or appearing ,
must be having maths and physics For air force, navy.
maths with any stream for army
age limit is 16.5-19yrs for air force and navy,
16.5-19.5yrs for army.

For girls to join army they need to be:
they may apply for CDS:

graduate in any discipline ,
age limit is 19-24yrs,

Direct SSB:

Final Year appearing/Graduate in any discipline with 50% Aggregate marks,
NCC Senior Div Army with minimum 'B' Grade in 'C' Certificate Exam.
age limit is 19-25yrs.

No, Girls are not eligible to apply for NDA as it is absolutely meant for Boys only.

NDA - NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY exam conducted by UPSC twice every year for entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA TO APPLY FOR NDA:-

-The candidate must be an Indian unmarried male candidate.
-Should have either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised Board.
-Should be within the age of 16.5 to 19 years.
-Should have possessed good Physical and Mental health.

The selection is through written exam followed by personal interview along with Physical Fitness and Medical Test.

Girls if interested then after Graduation they can apply for CDS(Combined Defence Service) to serve Defence Sector.

hello dear,
i am sorry to say that girls are not eligible to give the NDA exam.
NDA exam is only for the boys. Only boys can give the NDA exam.
defence exams are mainly for the boys. girls can enter in defence , but from other modes i.e LL.B, MBBS etc.
