no friend you can not apply for nda next year because nex year you will cross the age of 19 year which is the out of the range for the nda eligibility criteria

sorry to say in nda only those who lie between 16 1/2 and 19 years age can apply

Hello friend,
The upcoming NDA exam is supposed to be conducted on 15.04.2012.
The maximum age limit to apply for the exam is 19 years and as per your date of birth, I guess you won't be eligible for the exam.
But, you should not worry about that. If you have a deep interest in joining the defense forces of India, you may still do it after completion of your bachelors degree program. Being a graduate, you will be eligible to write the combined defense service exam which also conducted by UPSC. The minimum eligible age is 19 years. The maximum age limit for Indian Army is 24 years, for Indian Navy it's 22 year and for the Indian Air Force it's 23 years.

you are not eligiable for the NDA II Exam of next year.

you have not age criteria right now.

the following criteria are essentially required to apply for NDA Exam.

>>Age criteria candidate is 16.5-19 years.

>> Candidate must be 12th science with PCM subject combination chice.

>>minimum 60% marks in class 12th exam.

>>minimum height 165cm.

Sorry to say this you have no chances to appear for this examination.Because your age was already crossed 19 years.So you can't apply for this examination.

See the next year age limits of this examination.

Age limits of N.D.A I :-

Your age should have a 16.5 years to 19 years at time of appearing.

Only unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd January,1994 and not later than 1st July,1996 are eligible.


Age limits of N.D.A II :-

Your age should have a 16.5 years to 19 years at time of appearing.

Only unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd July,1994 and not later than 1st January,1997 are eligible.


So According to the age limits you have no chances to appear for this examination.If you are interested apply for the CDS Examination.

hello friends, in 2010, i filled the the form for NDA exams, n i was failed to appear bcoz of some reasons,

As your age is exceed 19 years on 21st March 2012.So you are not eligible for NDA-II exam.

So if you are interest,then you can appear for CDS exam,after completing graduation degree in Engineering.

The CDS exam is also conducted by UPSC every year twice.This exam is conducted to take qualified students into different service like Indian Air Force,Indian Navy,India Army.

Yes. You are eligible to apply for upcoming NDA Exam.

NDA Exam is going to be conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) twice a year.

One can join into various defence services like
-Army wing
-Navy wing
-Air Force wing after cracking this exam and furhter rounds of selection process.

The selection procedure to be placed in above defence services is by
-Written Exam
-Interview

Later on, a medical test will also be conducted.

The required age criteria for the candidate in order to be eligible for this exam is 16 1/2 years to 19 years.

One should have completed 12th class from a recognized board in order to be eligible for this exam.

If the candidate want to join navy and air force wings, then the candidate must have gone through Physics and Mathematics as the compulsory subjects in 12th class to be eligible for these two wings.

You are eligible to apply to apply for NDA-II exam next year if you have completed 12th standard and wiyhin an age group of 16.5 to 19 years of age Indian unmarried citizen.

NDA stands for National Defence Academy exam conducted by UPSC two times every years for entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wings of NDA.

The NDA-II exam will be held on next year after completion of NDA-I exam which will be held on 15.04.2012.

Eligibility Criterion For NDA

The NDA exams are conducted twice every year in the months of April and August..

The minimum eligibility criterion for appearing in the NDA is as follows :-

1) You should be a 12th pass out from a recognized board..

2) You should be within the age limit of 16.5-19 years..

Since,you would have crossed 19 years at the time of the 1st examination of NDA..hence you won't be able to appear for the NDA exams in 2012..

You have the option of appearing for the CDS (Combined Defence Services) Exams after you complete your graduation..

The age limit for joining the various armed forces under CDS is as follows :-

For Naval Academy : 19-22years
For Air Force Academy : 19-23 years
For Indian Military Academy : 19-24 years
for Officer's Training Academy : 19-25 years
