i m a bio student and i dnt have maths so plz tell me that can i do bca?

If you have studied physics and chemistry in your 12th than even if you have not studied maths in your class makes you eligible for BCA course.


Bachelor of Computer Application is 3 years Undergraduate degree course in which students study about computers applications in detail.

Eligibility for BCA

• 12th passed with 50% marks or other equivalent qualification from recognized board.
• you have must have MATHS/STATISTICS/BUSINESS MATHEMATICS/PHYSICS/CHEMISTRY in your class 12th.


Reputed institutions take Entrance Exam which usually consist questions on

• ENGLISH

• QUANTITIVE APTITUDE

• REASONING

and

• GENERAL AWARENESS

(total questions -150)

Followed by

• Group Discussion
• Personal Interview.

i just passed my 12th from biology side....my subjects were physics, chemistry, biology, english, and hindi from UP board.....i got 59 % marks.....can i take BCA?

I passed 12th with 62.16% in ISC board scoring 95% in computer application, 90% in English ,51% in physics ,78% in chemistry and 59% in biology. I did PCB. I got mbbs seat but I an interested in computers and biology and not mbbs! I wish to join BCA and the persue with bioinformatics. Am I eligible for bca? Please could you name few colleges that offer bca to PCB students. Thank you!

Dear Friend;
On basis of Intermediate qualification witha minimum of 50% aggregate you are eligible for taking admission in BCA (Bachelor in Computer Applications).
There are many BCA colleges are available in every District, but you have to choose the college / University which comes underUGC. BCA is a three year coarse and the fees structure per semester is 6500/-
There is much more scope of BCA is available in many MNCs and Pvt. sector software companies.
On base of BCA, you may get Junior level posts like Programmer /Assistant Programmer / Database Analyst / System Analyst etc.
For getting high level posts like System Administrator / Database Administrator / Network Administrator / Network Engineer etc. a candidate needs to passed out Master degree in Computer Applications / Computer Science.

I have pass my intermediate with 80.3 percentage,in bipc stream some are saying that bipc students are not eligible for bca course.so could you please send the college names which can give admission for BCA to bipc students.

i am from science background ,my main subject is biology and i don't have maths as a subject i.e, i am a PCB student. But i would like to join the BCA course after my 12th . so my question is whether i can go for BCA?. will maths be difficult for me if i do BCA as i have had maths only till my 10th. i would like to have an answer.
