sir, I am from ece department , can eligible for eto course in merchant navy

ETO (Electro Technical Officer) - ETO Officers are the designated officers on ships who tale care all electrical related work such as maintenance, malfunctioning & troubleshooting.
To become ETO officer candidate need to pursue the course called as Eletro Technical Officers Course.

A.Course duration - It is 17 weeks long fully residential presea training course.

B. Education-
1. Should have passed 12th with at least 50% marks in PCM.
2. Should have passed technical education diploma(3 years) or degree (4 years) with at least 50% marks i one of the following branches.
i.Electronics engineering
ii.Electronics and communication engineering
iii.Electronics and Instrumentation
iv.Electrical Engineering
v.Electrical and Electronics engineering.

C. Physical and Medical Standards-
i. Candidate should be physically fit as per the shipping rules.
ii.Should have eyesight as per the shipping standards.
