sir i am final year student of information technology. Can i join indian army ?

Yes,you can join in Indian army after passing your B.Tech.

It is really appreciable that you want to join Defence after getting such higher education.

You can apply for Indian Army through following three ways.

==>CDS exam(Combined Defence Service Exam)

==>TGC entry(Technical graduate course)

==>UES entry(University entry scheme)

Eligibility for CDS:

-->candidate should be graduate in any stream from recognized university.

-->candidate can also apply for CDS exam while persuing final year.

-->candidate age should be in between 19 to 24 years.

-->Candidate must be an Indian and also unmarried male.

Eligibility for TGC entry:

-->Candidate should have completed B.E/B.Tech course from any recognized university.

-->Final year candidates are also apply for this exam.

-->Age should be between 19 to 24years.

-->candidate must be an Indian and male.

Eligibility for UES:

-->Candidate persued B.tech/B.E course from recognized university.

-->Final year candidates are also apply for this exam.

-->Candidate age should be in between 20 to 27 years in final year.

-->Candidate age should be in between 18 to 24 years if in pre-final year.

-->candidate must be an Indian.

you can join Army after graduation. you can also apply for Army entrance exam in final year of your graduation. various apportunity are in Army for graduate students. after graduation you can apply for officer level posts.

After graduation you can apply for CDS,AFCAT,TGC and UES. these all are officer level exam.

Eligibility criteria for all these exams are almost same like-

Candidate must have graduation.
Age must between 18-24 year.
only Unmarried candidate student can apply.
only Indian candidate can apply for these exams.

These all are very good exams for entry in Army on officer post. all these exams consists written exams and then SSB. first you have to clear written exam then you have to call for SSB.

In written exam there are four section Reasoning,General Knowledge,Maths and English. you should do preparation for these types of question.
