I am study in bsc final year .please tell me how l am join Indian military academy

CDS :- Combined Defence Service

To join Indian Army then you have to appear in CDS examination conducted by UPSC for two times in a year as CDS II & CDS II.

Eligibility condition's for CDS Examination :

Qualification :- Graduation degree in any specialization.

Minimum percentage :- passed.

Age limit :- 19 to 24 years.

Gender :- Male (Unmarried)

Nationality :- Indian .


Physical condition's necessary for Indian Army:



CDS examination is divided into three stages:

• Written exam

• Interview

• Medical test

Important notification for CDS-I Exam :

Date of start of online application : Over

Last date of Submission of Application form : Over

Date of CDS written exam : Over


Important notification for CDS-II Exam :

Date of start of online application : 25.5.2013

Last Date of Submission of Application form : 24.6.2013 (Monday)

Date of CDS written exam : 8.9.2013 (Sunday)

if you want to join indian military than you try cds exam which is conduct by upsc every year .

there are three wing in army
1. army
for this your age between 19 to 24 year only
you should be graduate . final year student will be apply for this .

2. air force
for this your age between 19 to 23 year
you should be graduate with pcm sub only .

3. navy
for this your age between 19 to 22 year only
you should be graduate with pcm sub. only

for all of these you should be indian first .

To join the Indian Military Academy you can crack the CDS exam.

CDS stands for Combined Defense Service.

This exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission twice in a year.

CDS - II

CDS has four wings:

Indian Military Academy

Indian Air force

Indian Naval

Officer Training

Eligibility Criteria:

Nationality:

Candidate should be citizen of India.

Educational Qualification:

You should complete the Graduation from recognized University.

Percentage required for this exam.

Final year pursuing candidates are eligible for this exam.

Age Limit:

Indian Military Academy:

19 to 24 years.

Indian Naval:

19 to 22 years.

Indian Air force:

19 to 23 years.

Officer Training:

19 to 25 years.

Gender:

Only unmarried male candidates are eligible for this exam.

Female candidates are eligible for the Officer Training recruitment.

You can not join Indian Military Academy while studying B.Sc. Final year but can apply for the same through CDS.

CDS - Combined Defence Service, the entrance exam for which is conducted by UPSC twice every year as CDS-I and CDS-II for entry in to Indian Naval Academy, Air Force Academy, Officer's Training Academy along with Indian Military Academy.

The eligible candidate aspiring for IMA of CDS, must be an unmarried Indian Male having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass in any stream from a recognised University within the age of 19 to 24 years with good Physical and Mental health, can apply for CDS.
