Can i joint merchant navy by 12th pass...Please tell me the details

Interested candidates can join the merchant navy in two ways. You need to complete
class 12 with Physics, maths and chemistry. Only unmarried candidates upto the age of 20 years can apply. In case of SC/ST, five years age relaxation is provided. Physical requirements like 6/6 vision along with minimum height of 5 feet is mandatory.
Candidates who have completed Marine Engineering or B.Sc in Nautical Science can also apply. Incase of direct entry, after class 12, you can take up deck cadet jobs. If a company selects you then it will arrange a 3 months long pre-sea training for you. For B.Tech in Electrical/Mechanical/Technology, candidates are eligible for officer level jobs and have to undergo 9 months pre-sea course in Marine Engineering from MERI.
