hello,i want to know that can i join nda after 12th and what r the requirements for this and in which month its forms open .......please give me ans. early

Of course you can join NDA after 12th. The eligibility details are :

10+2, age 16 1/2 to 19, un married.

Yearly two times there is notification for NDA exam.

the exam is conducted every year by UPSC in the month of March and october with a age limit between 16 and 1/2 to 19 years.

two test are taken in it...one aptitude test and a mathematics test.....you have to clear those test ...then you have to qualify for physical and interview ......

you can apply for NDA after complete your +2 in biology,physics and chemistry. you can apply twice in a year for NDA test.

ya of course you can join NDA after your 10+2 , but Selection criteria of NDA take around 1 yr , and they consider your age at the date of commencement of course i.e actual age limit at time of applying for NDA is 17 1/2 to 18 yr. so, if you preparing to give it after completing your 10+2 you may face problem regarding age. so, its is better to give it when you passed your class XI . it form are out in month of april and october. hope this useful to you , best of luck

you can apply for NDA after 12th, nd this exam is conducted twice a year and notified first is in october and second is in march

ya you can join nda after plus two .
The minimum qualification is plus two pass with 70% marks in physics, chemistry and maths
The exam is conducted in two sessions
The age category is 18 to 19
First sessions is in the month of april . And the corresponding forms will be issused during the month of december
Second session is conducted in the month of august and corresponding forms are issused during may month
Forms will be available in near by head post office at the rate of 20rs.
The other requirements are plus two photocopy attested and your permanent address.any one copy of certificate showing your date of birth. for more details visit the website www.upsc.com:-). All the best.

The ratio was 1:1000 in joining army or navy or air force few years back but
the 6th pay commission and recession has changed the system now,

For eligibility to write NDA I exam is
16.1/2 - 19 years as on 01.01.2011

But it will be different for NDA II

there will be two exams in NDA center premises

• GENERAL ABILITY TEST

1. you will be having SSB after NDA-I
2. if you clear SSB then you will be facing Medical right there
3. if you clear Medical then you will be selected for further merit list

Yes you can join NDA after 12 class. But for that you will have to Qualify NDA Exam conducted by UPSC twice every year.

The eligibility for NDA Exam is:
12th pass or appearing;
Age limit: 16.5 years to 19 years
Unmarried Male could apply only.

The notification for NDA II Exam will come on 09.04.2011 and exam date is 21.08.2011.

You can join NDA after 12 and the requirements are that you should attain a minimum of 19years old and maths and physic background if you are applying for navy and air forces if not required for army wings.you also need to have minimum physical standard as as required by UPSC.The exams are conducted twice a year.One is on April and other is on August.For NDA 1 the Notification of NDA-I Exam 2011 is on 16th October, 2010 and the last date of receiving application forms is on 15th November, 2010.The exam will be conducted on 17th April, 2011.
For NDA 2 the Notification of NDA-II Exam 2011 is on 12th March, 2011 and the last date of receiving application form is on 18th April, 2011.The exam will be conducted on 21st/28th August, 2011.You can try for NDA 2 exam since the submission of application form has expired for NDA 1 exam.

for that you have to clear the exam and then after SSB interviews are for selected candidates ,if you clear the SSB then you can join at officer rank.

National Defence Academy Examination - Eligibility

Age: 16½ to 19 years.

Marital Status and gender: Unmarried male candidates

Educational Qualification:
(i) For Army wing of National Defence Academy :- 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
(ii) For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 (Executive Branch) Course at the Naval Academy :- 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
Candidates who are appearing in the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply for this examination.

Nationality - A candidate must be either
(i) a citizen of India, or
(ii) a subject of Bhutan, or
(iii) a subject of Nepal, or
(iv) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before the 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
(v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, the East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently setting in India).
Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) and (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India. However, the certificate of eligibility will not be necessary in the case of Gorkha subjects of Nepal.

Physical Fitness:
Candidates must be physically fit according to the prescribed physical standards.

Eligibility-
Only unmarried male candidates are allowed to appeared in the NDA examination..
age must be between 16-1/2 to 19 years
12th appearing or appeared students are eligible....
Only Maths students are eligible for applying NDA examination.

ndA TEST IS CONDUCTED TWICE A YEAR... nda-1 and nda-2

forum of nda-1 is available in oct. to december
and forum of nda -2 is available in may to june........

Requirments
1. 12th with PCM.
2. Age 16.5-19.

it is a best chance to join Indian defence in permanant comession as a oficer because SSB at this level is quit eassy as compare to CDS
