Yes, B.Tech graduates if interested can apply for LLB course. Candidates who are graduates can pursue LLB course. 50% marks is essential to apply for the same. Candidates can secure admission for LLB by clearing CLAT exam. This exam aims to test candidates in subject areas like legal aptitude, reasoning, GK, language skills etc. Those who clear this exam with a high score can apply for LLB course in reputed and recognized law colleges.

Re: Can I take LLB after B.Tech degree? What is the procedure to do it?
Although it does not make much sense but yes LLB is possible after Bachelor of Technology. I wonder why would you want to do LLB after B.Tech. You should apply for jobs related to Engineering.
By pursuing law you would be making your Engineering degree irrelevant upto great extend. What is the point of doing B.Tech if you want to become lawyer? Anyway it is your call and if you want to do LLB, it is very much possible. The criteria for LLB is graduation degree. Any graduation degree is accepted for doing LLB course. The duration of the course is 3 years and it can only be pursued through regular mode. The degree offered through correspondence are not recognized by Bar Council of India. Neither it is called LLB. LLB Eligibility 1. You should have completed graduation. 2. At least 45 percent marks in graduation. 3. SC/ST need 40 percent marks in graduation. 4. Age limit for LLB is 30 years. 5. There is upto 5 years relaxation for SC/ST. 6. OBC candidates have same criteria as General candidates. I will still recommend that you find job with your degree. If you have scored 60 percent marks or above then Public Sector Undertaking is a great option for you. |
