Can medical student apply for NDA exam? Criteria to apply? When I can apply for it? Is there separate form for medical students? Can you please give me the details on the same? Hoping to get the answer soon on this. Please answer me.

Academic qualification: Senior Secondary passed or appearing for NDA exam. Medical stream candidates are eligible for Indian Army. In case of Air Force and Navy, Physics and Mathematics is necessary.

Age limit is 16.5-19.5 years.

Female candidates can not apply for NDA exam.

No, there's no separate application form for medical students.

Yes, the medical student is eligible to apply for NDA examination. But, he is eligible to join only in Indian Army through NDA examination. To be eligible to join Indian Navy/ Indian Air Force, you should have passed 12th standard or an equivalent examination with Mathematics and Physics subjects from a Government recognised board. You are eligible only for Army wing without mathematics in (10+2). You can apply from June and January months for September and April session exams respectively.

NDA Eligibility
- You must have passed (10+2) in any stream to apply for Army wing. For Naval & Air Force wings, candidates must have mathematics in (10+2).
- Your born should be between 2nd July, 1998 and 1st July, 2001 to apply for NDA 2017.

NDA refers to National Defense Academy and same is a defense academy meant for providing training and education to those who manages to qualify NDA entrance examination with an aim to become a commissioned officer in Indian defense sector.
