i am pursuing my mca and will complete in 2012.I have got above 60% in X and XII but in B.Sc I have got 58%.Can you please tell me the names of the IT companies campussing in which I will be eligible for.Please rply.

Its difficult to apply for the on campus placement for you.
Because in the on-campus placement the company requires

60% in X
60% in XII
60% in Graduation. So it may be possible that you can't sit
in the on campus placement.

But don't worry you can apply for the off campus jobs. The
companies in which you can apply off campus are listed below:

HCL

INFOSYS

MICROSOFT

ADOBE

SUNSHINE etc.


Basically the minimum percentage criteria of most of the company's
are 60% when they are hiring candidates on-campus. So it may
be possible that you can't sit for the on campus placement.

But don't worry there are lots of company's in which you can apply
off campus. But note one thing that there should be no current
backlog of yours when you are applying for the job in any company.

Eligibility criteria For IT companies, such as TCS, INFOSYS, IBM, SATYAM, WIPRO etc. are as follows: -

1. Pass B.E. or B.Tech. or B.Sc or MCA or M.E. or M.Tech. or M.S. or M.Sc with minimum 65 % aggregate marks from a regonised institute / university.

2. No standing backlogs are allowed.

3. GAP should not be more than 2 years in the education.

4. M.Tech. and MCA students having minimum 3 years experience.

5. 10 th & 12 th standard - Minimum 60 % aggregate marks from a regonised board.

Try to increase your percentage to 60. You are still having 3 semesters in your hands.

Now i m in 3rd year bsc.it,i got 60% above in both ssc and hsc...but in my 1st and 2nd year of bsc.it i got 50% and 50% respectively...

As you have secured less than 60% marks in graduation, so you are not eligible for the campus drive of any leading software companies..

Eligibility Criteria:-

*The candidate should have 60% aggregate through out the career..
*The candidate should not have any due backlogs.
*The candidate should not have any year gap more than 2 years.

These are the criteria you have to fulfill....
As you have less than 60% marks in graduation, then sorry to say you that you are not eligible..
But you can go for the small IT companies, where no such criteria is mentioned..

Maximum software company want 60 % in through out .Some company want 65 through out .so the percentage is vary from company to company .

Few software company set their criteria is just above 50%.

Your B.SC graduation marks is not above 60%.

So the eligible company are WIPRO , SYNTEL ,RS SOFT ,HONEYWELL , ALUMNUS etc.

Also you have option for higher study . But you must be qualify in GATE , CAT ,MAT exam.

The higher study options are MBA ,M-TECH,MS,JRF , SRF,PHD etc.

hi friend,

Accademic Percentage is eligibility criteria for software and government jobs.

Mininmum accademic Percentage is above 60% then you will eligible for attend the interviews for software jobs.

But some comanies will hire students whose Percentage less than 60 in one course.

Hcl,infosys,tcs,cognizant will hire the students based on above criteria
