Re: Is it compulsory to secure 30% marks in each subject?
As you have not specified in which area you are asking this question, so let me tel you the general marking required.
Generally the passing marks in schools and institutes is 33%, unless you get 33% or more you will be not said to have passed in that subject. And mostly in colleges the minimum marks are 40%...... so its compulsory to secure atleast 30%( not in case of Enterence exams for that you have to findout the cutoff) |

Re: Is it compulsory to secure 30% marks in each subject?
Hello friend,
I think your question is not complete, so it is difficult to answer. But if you are asking about IITJEE or AIEEE entrance examination then it is not necessary to get 30% marks in each subjects. The overall percentile is give and its matters. |

Re: Is it compulsory to secure 30% marks in each subject?
As your question is not clear, i would like to guide to you that in metriculate and intermediate level you need to score a minimum of 33% individually in each subject to pass the respective class and same is in graduation level also.

Re: Is it compulsory to secure 30% marks in each subject?
Hello guest
As this forum provides Answers for most of the career related doubts its very important for the questioner to be clear with his question then only we will be able to help you.. anyways.. i'm assuming that you are an engineering student pursuing with ECE then answer for your question is .. yes definitely its necessary because the persons with top percentages are only struggling to get jobs if you don't at least have 30% of marks then its mere waste of applying for jobs so if you are capable enough with at least 50% of knowledge in the subject what you have learnt then only you will have the least chances to get a job in the companies as the skilled persons are still roaming on roads for jobs so my advise to you is better get good percentage in the course what you are.. even you are not of engineering also this answer will be applicable .. as the employer will select for job only based upon consistency of marks in your academics.. so take care of it... and post good clear informative questions.. ~aditya~ |

Dear friend,
Your question is not clear at all. So I am not able to give you favorable suggestion related to your question. Once again post your question. So I can help you in providing the solution. If you are talking about 10th or 12th class then it is compulsory to score 33% in each subject. So, please ask your question again, Then only I will be able to post my answer in your favor. All the best. |

Re: Is it compulsory to secure 30% marks in each subject?
I think your question is incomplete. As you have asked this question i want to clear you that any subject you take 30% and is compulsory to score in any of the course and even in some of the course the 30% is not enough you have to secure 50% to get pass in each subject.if doubt is not clear you can once again ask the question regarding any particular subjects but please mention the course of your doubt.

Re: Is it compulsory to secure 30% marks in each subject?
Most of the institutes need 33% pass in each subject and most of the exams need 30% pass....
But since you have not mentioned for which exam you are talking about... We can not provide any more information about this. |
