To become a Space scientist in ISRO, firstly you will have to complete your 10+2 with PCM stream.

Then, take admission in an engineering college which is a decent one having all the required facilities of space engineering or astrophysics.

However, it would be better for you if you qualify exams like JEE Mains, JEE Advanced or BITSAT and get admission in institutes like IITs or BITs.

After cracking the entrance exams, choose the preferred branch as Aerospace Engineering.

Some of the popular institutes for studying Astrophysics or Aerospace Engineering are:
  • Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur.
  • Hindustan Institute of Engineering Technology, Chennai
  • Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati
  • Bihar Institute of Technology, Sindri, Ranchi.
  • Mohammad Sathak Engineering College, Kilakarai.
  • Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee
  • Siddhartha Institute of Aeronautical Engineering and Information Technology
  • Nehru College of Aeronautics and Applied Sciences, Coimbatore
  • Indian Institute of Technology Delhi
  • Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh
  • Rajasthan Vidhyapeeth (Deemed)University, (Rajasthan)
