Dear Sir/Mam,
I am Priyanka Aswal from Delhi. I was from commerce background but nw Pursuing Eng(H) From DU n Side by side GNIIT(BSIM). I hav given my 1st yr exam in April. My father wants me to do CA/CS. N m totally confused whether to do CS or after completing my graduation step forward for MA in Eng(H)/ do MBA. I hav strong liking towards Business Studies in my high school. So m totally confused wat is most beneficial for me. Need ur hlp n guidance.

Priyanka since you have moved away from the commerce stream to English (Honours) stream, it would be a bit difficult for you to cope up with demands of the CA or CS course. If you really want to get into the corporate field and since you have interest in Business Studies, it would be better to go for a MBA after your graduation. In MBA during the first year, no body has any clear advantage and since students come from diverse streams, none of the subjects favour anybody and you will find the course comfortable.

Since you were from commerce background, you should have continued on the same track. I dont know why you chose English (hons). when you had interest in Business studies. Student from commerce background has got more options in the market compared to the one from Arts or Science background. If you are not interested in CA/CS, the best of the professional courses, you may pursue MBA to make career in the corporate world but it will be rewarding only when it has been done from the best of the institutes.
You can not make a great career by pursuing MBA from any XYZ institute.

I would suggest you to go for the course which suits you the best. Realize your area of expertise and go for it. Success never comes with a degree, whatever career you choose, you will always need to work hard and be passionate about it to succeed.

If you want to build your carrier in management line you can do C.A and C.S but it is difficult to you as you have changed your stream but it is far better to do M.A and be a lecture or a professor because english lectures have high demand now a days in many of the institutions.

Dear friend,

As you have intentions to study in commerce field, you can opt for an MBA with any specialisation, instead of doing M.A.

After MBA you can step in various management jobs as you know how much assuring career it gives.

Dont confuce, just do whatevr you like. But as you are from commerce background, then i will suggest you just do MBA from HR. Because in now a days MBA has its own
importance and if you are doing MBA from HR field, then definately you will get a job
with good salary pacakege.

In every company, there is a post of HR and if you have to do MBA from HR, then definately you will get job. So, dont confuse just create confidence on yourself
and choose field according to your interest because it is your career, not for
your parents.

After doing B.com should I apper for bank PO exam or M.com is better for me?

Scheme of CS (Preliminary) Examination

The Preliminary Examination consists of two papers of objective type (multiple-choice questions) carrying a maximum of 450 marks.
The Question Papers (Test Booklets) are set in English & Hindi

Paper - I General Studies 150 Marks
Paper - II One of the optional subjects to be selected from the prescribed optional subjects
300 Marks

in my opinion there is lots of opportunities to professionals in educational institutions both private and public sectors. the aspirant needs to be in touch with these employment notifications.
but it will be better to do ma.

hi prinyaka, first i would say that relax your self sit calmly and think about your strenth and weakness in ur studies.may be your dad's opnion is correct on his part. as you have done your commerce there is no mean in changing the track and going for english. you be confident on what you want to study and talk to your dad politly tell all the benefits and make him agree for your wish.afterall its YOU who gone to study.WHERE THERE IS A WILL THERE IS A WAY. As you have changed your stream from Commerce to English it would be a bit uncomfortable for you to go for CA/CS.As you have told that you have a strong liking towards Business Studies then you should go for MBA.A degree of MBA would be useful if you persue it from a good college.
