hiii m dng BA with economics hons....what should i do aftr graduation?

You can go for M.A in economics after complete your graduation in economics.
A part from Masters in economics, you can also look for MBA with specialization
in finance.........

After BA (Economics) there are various oppurtunities available for you.

You can opt for higher studies like- MA/P.hd (Economics), MBA, etc.

You can also enter into Civil Services. I have seen Candidates with such types of qualifications find it easily to crack Civil service exams, Public Service Exams etc.

After Completing your MA or P.hd you can appear for Indian Economic Service Examination one of the better field for you.

Career prospect will be much better after persuing Master degree. So better first complete your master degree.

Dear Friend.

You choosen on of the best and/or rare subject from Art stream.

After completing BA it is better to complete MA with same suject as special subject.

After that you can go for Competitive exam or MBA or PHd. Whatever you Like.

But I suject you to Go for Competitive exam's and side by side you can try to complete your PHd.

See even if you fail to crack any of the Competitive exam you will surely get a good appoutunity in the Teaching field.

You can opt for the M.A. Econometrics in the JNU, Delhi University or else the Anna University, Chennai. This is one the subjects having a good scope to get in to the Economic research institutes and also for the Private companies. Try to join this course with confidence...

Well decided.

Now, if you want to opt for MBA then no problem you can opt for it, but first you have to complete your Bachelor degree because you can not study MBA without completing Bachelor degree.

You can persue your Bachelor degree in any subject you prefer. I will advice you to opt for Economics at bachelor degree, it would be better for you. And after acquiring Bachelor degree in Economics you will find MBA comparetively easier, and can easily opt for specialisation in Finance.

Non other branch in MBA is as promising as Finance and Marketing. Dont worry about career prospect it is bright after that.

Both are Good option..........!

Dont worry for that just persue the course in which you have interest or whcih field you want to persue.

Since you are BA (Economics) student followings are some of the best options available for you.

1) MBA with specialisation in Finance will best suites you.

2) M.sc (Economics), yesy after being a BA Graduate in Economics you can persue M.sc in it. General criteria at more or less all universities are BA(applied mathematics,Economics)/B.sc (Mathematics, Economics) with at least 55% aggregate.

So, you can continue M.sc followed by P.hd as you said you are interested.

First you have to decide that you are interested in job after graduation or in MASTERS.
If you are not interested in job now then first clear your MASTERS in economics.
With MA you can also prepare for civil services if you are interested.

Career After MA (Economics)

When ever we think of what after MA (Economics) the best option which struck the mind is Indian Economic Service. Which is conducted by UPSC (http://www.upsc.gov.in) every year notification for which are announced generally in the month of March-April.

Indian Economic Service officers are responsible for maintaining the whole Economic condition of India, they work for Finance Ministry, RBI etc...

Other then that Indian Civil Services- IAS,IPS,IFS are also best options.

Again, after that RBI conducts its own entrance and interview etc. for recruiting in its different services.

Besides these various options are available for you in Banking sector, Real Estate, Insurance etc...

as you have completed your BA i suggest you to go for MBA if you are intrested in doing some bank jobs or jobs in private sector . as with MA if you do MBA you have a command on business which is more demand able now days.you can also go for MA If you are interested in it.

if you study your +2 in maths along with economics..then you can study mca...mba need not have maths +2..and there is lots of opportunities...there will scope for gaining knowledge..but,mba must be done in top b-school of managment studies(a-grade).better you choose m.a economics and continue later with Ph.d....and if you mba ,there is scope of gaining knowledge in economics along with the communication skills..

Well, I think the best thing is to prepare for any Entrnace, like- Civil service or best one for you is Indian Economic Services, or NET, SET etc.

Means any other entrance which you would like to opt after your MA.

Hi, If you are doing regular M.A. then you cann't do any regular course yet you can also do prepartion for MBA civil services and Net. First you should do hard work to get good marks so that you can apply for Net because for this it manadatory to acheive atleast 55% marks in respective subject while this is not very scoring sub and needs very deep knowledge.If you are looking for finace then you can join any institute for tally that would be helpful in respective sector.

These days a lot of options are available to you after doing BA in economics.
The most common approach would be to go for MA in economics after which you may appear for various civil service examinations.
Otherwise you have the option of doing MBA with specialization in finance which would be best as you have an economics background.
Also, if you had maths as a subject in 10+2 you can opt for MCA which would be very beneficial and will take you into the technical field.
Also, if you interested you may enter into banking and finance sector such as share market, freelance banker, etc..
