Diploma holder in Civil stream can appear in B.E. or B.Tech Lateral Entry Scheme?
My name is Abhishek, i am diploma holder from civil stream, and my question is do am i eligible to appear in B.E. or B.Tech lateral entry entrance examination ?

Yes, you can appear in B.E or B.Tech Lateral Entry examination being a Diploma holder in Civil stream.
Candidates who have passed three years Diploma in Engineering course are eligible to appear in Lateral Entry examination. Lateral Entry examination is ane entrance test which is conducted by respective state technical board of education for offering admission in second year of B.Tech course to candidates who have done Diploma course. If you qualify the examination, you will be called for counselling process which includes certificate verification and web option enrollment. After completion of this process, according to your examination rank, you will be allotted a seat in the college which you are eligible for pursuing B.E or B.Tech course. |
