Re: Does HCL accept students with backlogs in B.Tech?
Hello friend,
There are different criteria being set for on campus and off campus placement drive for companies. Companies like HCL conduct campus recruitment programs in both on campus and off campus modes. For these two category, the criteria or eligibility are different. In maximum, off campus drives, there is no backlog criteria for students, and in on campus this criteria remains on,i.e they check whether the student has back log or not. So, I don't think that you will have problems with the back logs as in the case of off- campus drives of HCL. Good luck! |

Re: Does HCL accept students with backlogs in B.Tech?
HCL ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
You can apply for the HCL if you don't have any current Backlog. Back in future doesn't matter. But while appearing for the HCL interview you should not have any current backlog. So you can apply for the HCL only if you have not any current backlog. Beside this the eligibility required by the HCL is 60% in 10th 60% in 12th 60% in graduation A candidate having even 0.1% less marks are not eligible to apply for the HCL. So you need the above eligibility criteria to apply for the HCL. And don't worry HCL accept back candidates, but they should not have any current backlog. |

Re: Does HCL accept students with backlogs in B.Tech?
mr rohit,
As per my knowledge recruitment in HCL is based on our educational qualification which should be of first degree throughout even though if you have backlogs the company can accept you if only you are liable to clear it before joining. best wishes |

Re: Does HCL accept students with backlogs in B.Tech?
if you have backlogs in the past then their is no problem .the problem comes to
picture only when you have current backlogs then you are not eligible for the HCL . So you can apply for the HCL only if you have not any current backlog. eligibility for HCL is you should have 60% in class 10th ,12th and engineering .and there is no rounding off of number is allowed . so if you full fill these criteria then you are eligible to appear for the companies placement exam . |

Re: Does HCL accept students with backlogs in B.Tech?
HCL only allows candidates with no backlogs in overall semester and also they specifically require minimum 60% in all the academic records you have that is 10th, 12th and also in B.Tech.
So i its not possible to accept any students below that criteria. |

Re: Does HCL accept students with backlogs in B.Tech?
This thing depends on your collage and its reputation if you talking about ON-CAMPUS recruitment.
In case of off-campus application live backlogs are disaster for a first impression, why would they choose someone not serious towards studies when they have so many other options to choose from (unless you are exceptionally technical). I would advise you to clear all your backlogs first and then apply to HCL. |

Re: Does HCL accept students with backlogs in B.Tech?
Dear friend,
Like all other software companies, HCL also demands at least 60% marks in 10th, 12th and B. Tech. It also demands that the candidate must not have any backlog in any semester in any subject. But all these demands are for on-campus recruitement. You can also apply in HCL if you have any backlog. But you should make sure that you clear all the backlogs before applying. |

Re: Does HCL accept students with backlogs in B.Tech?
No my dear friend ,no backlogs are allowed for recruitment exams .So at first try to clear all the backlogs and then try for the exams .but one thing you have to keep in mind that year gap more than two is not allowed .So work heard and try to clear the backlogs as soon as possible .
Thank you |

Re: Does HCL accept students with backlogs in B.Tech?
Hi
HCL is one of the top IT Companies in India. And also it is one of the top recruiters so it visits a lot of campuses across the country to recruit bright students for the IT Industry. Now it always holds some eligibility conditions which the candidates must fulfill in order to sit for the HCL Placement drive : 1. 60% throughout in your 10th, 12th and B.Tech. 2. You should not have any current backlogs, i.e when you are applying for the placement process and at the time of the interview. 3. You should not have more than 2 years of gap in your academic career. So you have to satisfy the above criteria's in order to take part in the HCL recruitment process. Please look that you do not have any current backlogs, and try to clear them before you sit for the placement process. I am also uploading a set of previous year placement papers of HCL. Hope they help. All the best Regards #RJ# |
