what was the education qualification for ips main exam...please tell me

Candidates should be graduates so as to apply for IPS post. One can choose any subject to do graduation. Graduation should be taken from a recognized institute. 30 years is the maximum age limit for this exam. They should appear for UPSC Civil Services exam so as to get selection for IPS post. On clearing this exam, they should attend physical test and personal interview.

Now i am a diploma engineer can i attend in IPS exam?

i am doing my engeneering in electronics and communication now its my 3rd year may i eligible if my degree is completed?

Educational qualification for IPS is as follows:

Age limit: 21-years must be completed on 1st August of the year, which a candidate is appearing. Maximum 30 for general category, 33 for OBCs and 35 for SCs/STs . Ex-servicemen will get 5 more years exemption.

Number of Attempts : Four attempts for open, seven for OBCs and no limit for SCs/STs.

Restrictions on applying for the examination: A candidate who is appointed to the Indian Administrative Service or the Indian Foreign Service on the results of an earlier examination and continues to be a member of that service will not be eligible to compete this examination.
Minimum Physical Standard: The physical standards are important for the job profile and the rigorous training at the NPA, which includes weekly run for 10 k.m. in 60 minutes, route march for 25 k.m. UAC, Horse riding, rock climbing, assault course, PT obstacles, rope climbing etc. The Medical standards for Technical Services are stringent.

INDIAN POLICE SERVICES

I.P.S exam is conducted by Union Public Services Commission once in a year.

I.P.S exam is also known as Civil Services Exam.

Civil Services Exam is conducted for various post like:-
> Indian Police Services
> Indian Administrative Services
> Indian Foreign Services
> Indian Revenue Services
> Indian Postal Services

ELIGIBILITY FOR CIVIL SERVICES EXAM:-
After graduation you can apply for I.A.S exam.

Age should be in between 21-30 year.
For ST/SC candidate age should be in between 21-35 year.

You can apply online or offline.
The Form cost is just 20 Rs.

Following criteria needed for the post of IPS exam :


you need to be a graduate from a recognized university
.
The minimum age requirement is 21 and maximum is 30 for General Category aspirants. For OBC, the maximum age requirement becomes 33 and for SC/ST it becomes 35 while minimum age remains the same for all three categories.


And most important you have to be physically as well as mentally fit.

If you are aspiring to join IPS then you have to apply for Civil Service Examination and also have to crack it with Good score......

This exam is conducted by UPSC twice in year in month of June and December.....

Eligibility and Criteria:

To become IPS officer you need to have minimum education qualification of Graduate from a recognizedktr`University.

Percentage does not matter in your graduation, you just need to be passed in your graduation to apply for examination.

So if you haven't completed your graduation than I advise you to complete your graduation first and than apply for examination.

There is no specific exam as IPS exam. To become an IPS officer one has to apply, appear and crack Civl Service Exam conducted by UPSC every year.

Qualification Required Foe IPS Civil Service Exam:-

-The candidate must be an Indian national.
-Should have either appeared for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass in any stream from a recognised University.
-Should be within the age of 21 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate.
-Should have possessed good Physical Fitness.

Apart from this the Minimum physical requirement for aspiring IPS candidate is:-

HEIGHT - General Male-165cm and Female-150cm when Sc/ST male-160cm and Female-145cm

IPS is one of the All India Allied services provided, once you clear this exam. The post highly competitive among aspirants. Designations like DSP, SP , Commissioner are given to passouts after training for IPS. After selection, you will be trained for two in IPS academy in Hyderabad.

The notification of CSE Examination is going to be published soon next year in the month of February and eligible candidates may fill the application form online only.

No, offline application form facility is applicable for any candidates in this examination.

The examination is conducted in 2 stages, preliminary and Mains, Firstly, you have to cracked the preliminary examination, this is objective and there are two papers in this examination. If you cracked this stage, then you are eligible for Mains.

The main examination is Descriptive and you have to choose the optional subjects for Main examination.
